Well, Carter announced in Jerusalem after his Hamas meeting in Syria, that Hamas is willing to make peace with the Jews of the region if Israel returns to it's pre-1967 borders ----- in other words, as predicted Carters visit and meeting has proved FRUITLESS!israel has repeatedly refused to give up their pre-67 i.e Jerusalem! And why should they? This is historical Jewish land firstly, and secondly they won it fear and square when attacked by their Islamic foes. Israel gave Palestinians the right to continue praying in their dome of the rock mosque, during the war, so why should Jews lose the right to be protected in their own city! And by using the Gaza strip evacuation as an example, why should the jews trust hamas? since "returning" the gaza strip they have faced constant rocket firing and terrorist smuggling over the border. Hamas is not to be trusted, and Israel should not be undermined.

i guess when u think about it, if he can help the situation more power to him, if he can't change a thing, it's no surprise. but since he has no real political position anymore he's not actually undermining anybody. it's really not something to be upset about

sorry guy but i do not think that love and hugs will change anything concerning a terrorist group/leader that likes to kill others simply because they are viewed as infidels....in other words because they do not practice the religion of islam...i practice no religion.....and will not be forced by some radical extremist to do so....

Someone has to make peace. The saber rattling will only get us guys with exploding backpacks. And he is a Nobel Prize winner and Harvard Law graduate. He is already being remembered as one of Americas best presidents. The right-wing spin condemns him because the Jews hate him for trying to help the Pallestinians and they control the right-wing neo-cons/nazis. Hitler did the same thing is Germany, Israel hard liners now mirror what the Nazis did in the 30's by condemning a race of people and anyone associated with them.
