What would you do if you lost your high speed Internet connection?

Friday morning my DSL provider decided (or maybe the decision was made for them) to go out of business with no warning. I’ve had dreams, well nightmares really, about just such an incident occurring and was in true denial Friday night through Sunday morning. Until Sunday afternoon, the only Internet connections I had were a Blackberry and a Treo which are decently slow at my house. Basically I was able to check email and that’s it (hence the reason there haven’t been any posts from me over the past few days).

What would you do? Take our poll…

And until I get the new connection setup, I can borrow my neighbor's wifi connection.

you forgot to add 'call up tech support and pout and whine and scream and act like a 5 year old and cuss and tell the tech that the provider is ruining your life and you want a full credit for today (which adds up to like a dollar or so) and you want a tech out immediately and you want to speak w/ a sup right now!'...not that adults really act like that over internet or anything...nooo of course not, just ask my last lovely customer, ignore her crying, shes a tad drunk.

Good luck finding a new ISP, that sucks that it would just go out of business like that.
