I buy name brand clothes if they're on extreme discount and cost about the same as commodities. However, there are lots of (not all) food and electronics that I prefer name brands for.
I try not too. Though if there's no abnoxious logo on it, It's good quality, and not over priced then I will. However that doesn't happen often.
