And games in a way, help release negative emotions by say, bashing a guys face in with a baseball bat (instead of say, bashing a waiter that brings you an appetizer with a hair in it) - it's not real... but helps get it all out in the open :)

Let's face it, most people who are violent and aggressive after playing that type of video games are usually reality-challenged....In other words, they likely don't know the distinction between "it's just a video game" and real-world or maybe they don't care about it.I find it quite sickening that today's society wants to blame every social issue on everything except the real culprits: the hearts of the people that cause these problems. Many violent acts are NOT intentionally so or as grave as they were. Blaming games and media isn't the answer... Education of our young people is the only thing that will clean up this world so they don't turn out as ignorant as previous generations.
