I wouldnt do that i would just bury them or have an urn in my house or a stone in the garden or just something other than that!

It's pretty much the same as taking hair off of a sheep isn't it? Unless they didn't wash the hair now that would've been gross. I wouldn't do it though.

I considered doing something like this with a cat's fur but decided against it. Mostly because I can't knit.

OMG, is this for real?  That sounds a bit psycho to me!  Sorry, I love my dogs lots and lots and could never imagine doing something like this.

Personally, I could not wear clothes made from my deceased pets, but I realize that people are different, with different sensibilities.  I consider myself a tolerant person, but if I were to meet this couple in polite company, I'm not sure if I would be able to keep my opinions to myself. My wife & I watched our old orange cat die the other day. He lived a good long life of thirteen years, and it was time for him to go. I buried him in the backyard, and gathered stones to make a cairn, marking the spot. The idea that I might've made apparel from his hide disgusts me, to be honest.
