Does Panda the pony enjoy being a guide for the blind?
Panda the miniature pony serves as a "guide horse" for the blind. The two-year-old pony stops at kerbs, spots uneven pavements and crosses busy roads. She can get in and out of a car, go up and down stairs and is completely house trained. She accompanies her owner in shopping centres, supermarkets and even on planes.
Her owner, Ann Edie, sais: "I've had three guide dogs - but none have been anywhere near as good as Panda. She's become like a dance partner. She moves with me and can communicate with me through the harness".
Horses are recommended for blind people who are allergic to dogs, or who want a companion that will live longer than a dog.

How the fuck can you tell if the horse is happy from an article?!
Makes me wish I was blind...
