Is Dwyane Wade quitting on the heat?

Seems like the Heat have shut down D. Wade from playing the rest of the season.  the Heat went from the Champs, to Ok, to just terrible now.  Shaq's gone and now its just D. Wade and now after a 11-50 season, he's taking time to heal.  But would he be playing if they were in the playoff hunt?
