Your take on Chompy the turtle's rescue
A Sea Turtle was caught in some fishing wire after swimming in the Mediterranean Sea. After being caught, every additional movement only tightened the wire to its arms until one was completely removed and the other came close to as well. For months, the turtle struggled to survive until he was picked up by a Center for the Rescue of Sea Turtles on the coast of Kibbutz Sdot Yam in Israel.
Besides the removed left arm and the right one badly damaged, the turtle also had an old broken bone that never mended. For hours, vets worked in order to save the right arm, and by the end of the surgery a metal plate was also implanted. The cute turtle, whom the doctors decided to name Chompie, is now resting, receiving large meals of shrimps, octopus, and other sea food and daily massages. His caretakers hope to be able to return him to sea within a few weeks

Its our fault (humans) that he got caught in the fishing wire. We should have to fix it.
