McCain flip flops on gay rights. Is he really the "straight talking" candidate?

John McCain has embraced the image of the straight talking, no bullshit, answer-to-the-point candidate. In light of his apparent flip flopping on the issue of gay marriage, as seen in this video, maybe this image needs to be corrected. Is McCain really a straight talker?

They all flip-flop; they do what is expedient.  Those that give it to us 'straight' don't tell the masses what the masses want to hear, and don't the receive the masses' votes . . .   Elections are about politics, not leadership?

What experience does Hillary has just because you are the wife of the expresident does not qualify you for president is like me saying I can have a baby like my wife because I was there the whole 9 months and I help produce it.  What about Chelsea she was there can she run the contry too.  And McCain if I have a business I would not put an 72 old man to run it even if he has experience, McCain is on his last leg.

I'm an Independent and I have voted for Hillary Clinton already. If Obama gets the nomination I will probably vote for McCain out of fear of handing the country over to someone I know nothing about other than he gives a great speech.

I am an independent.  I might possibly vote for Clinton.  I will not vote for Obama.  He is too general and inexperienced.  Thus, Obama is INCORRECT in his statements that he will deliver to the Democratic Party all of the independent votes that would go to Clinton.  I will not vote for McCain either - I do not understand how he has gotten so far in the Republican Party with his odd combination of views.  If it is McCain vs. Obama in the general election, I will vote Independent, Libertarian, or Green.
