At least on land you can see what's coming towards you and may possibly be able to run and hide.... in the sea.... you're kind of doomed! Try outswimming a reptile...

Keeping in mind that you might be eaten by a giant reptile either way... I chose the sea, because being at sea is dangerous in itself. Do I have a boat?
