I do use OpenOffice actually, and I agree. It's a good program. But I still have to deal with Word documents that I receive, and it's a pain sometimes. People use it for things that it wasn't designed to do. People open a letterhead into Word (with their company logo at the top,) save it and send it to me, calling this camera-ready art. Ridiculous.

you can use www.openoffice.org for free, more adnaced and can save a docs xls pdf etc...to fit all your neads. save some mony :)

I'm forced to use Word documents only because most of my clients do (I work in commercial design.)
