Which of the two fighting lovebirds can cause the most damage?

On her blog, former America's Next Top Model participant, Elyse Sewell tells the tale of a physical fight between her and boyfriend, The Shins' keyboardist/bassist, Martin Crandall. Both have been arrested, Sewell to be released earlier than Crandall, who - apparently - is still in jail. From Sewell's livejournal blog:

"1.) On the drive home (home?) from Albuquerque to Portland, my ex-boyfriend got shitfaced and roughed me up in a Sacramento hotel. I escaped from the room through a blitzkrieg of violence and talked to hotel security, who called the fuzz."
