Michael Gates Gill's starbucks story

Michael Gates Gill was an Ivy League graduate and a successful ad agency executive with a six-figure salary. He was let go from his job after 26 years. He tried to start his own consulting firm, but it failed. He had an affair which ultimately ended his marriage. And just four years ago he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

All that sent his life spiraling downwards - until he happened upon a Starbucks that was hiring. He now works there as a barista.

Gill wrote the book "How Starbucks Saved My Life" based on his life experience. Tom Hanks has already bought the book's movie rights, and reportedly wants to play Michael in the film.
