Rupert Everett: Hollywood Is Like Al-Qaeda


Rupert Everett compares Hollywood to Al Qaeda. He says being gay cost him numerous roles, that you can't be gay in Hollywood, that Jodie Foster could only come out now, when she's already well established and doesn't give a damn, that he could never get his voice part in Shrek if it were a live action movie, and that unlike the drugged up Robert Downey Jr who got treated well, Britney gets the witch-hunt treatment.

Wow, I guess whiners have found an alternative to saying everything "is like Nazi Germany."  It's nice to see that self-pitying metaphors can adapt to current events.  When you consider the demographics of so-called sexual preference, homosexuals appear to be fairly represented in the various echelons of Hollywood.
