There are a couple of sites that now pay for your Digg and Stumble Upon votes. For $1 you could be on the front page of Stumble Upon; $75 for Digg. Do you think this is fair?
The nice thing about social media sites like Digg and Stumbleupon is that it is the masses that make the difference. They are entirely democratic, even if there be a party or two that sway their influence on the results every so often.
