American Idol's tribute concert to the U.S. troops ditches Jessica Sierra

On Friday, December 14, Lincoln Theatre in Washington D.C. will host an American Idol tribute to the U.S. troops. The holiday concert will feature former American Idol contestants.

Jessica Sierra had previously posted on her official website that she would be performing at the holiday tribute concert. Yesterday, The organization's VP issued this statement: "It is quite obvious that Ms. Sierra needs to devote a great deal of time to putting her life back together. We wish Jessica Sierra all the best in her path towards overcoming her addictions, but that path does not include participation in the 'A Song for Their Service' concert".

Two scandals involving Jessica Sierra have lately taken place, leading up to this decision: first, Sierra was quoted telling an arresting officer, "I'll suck your d*** if you don't take me to jail". A week later, sex tape photos of her started showing up on the net.
