Fay Weldon claims the Spice Girls have destroyed feminism, that they're a shameful, sorry, bunch that ruined an entire generation of girls who grew up following them ("How the Spice Girls have killed feminism, subverted morality and embarassed us all", 5th December 2007, daily mail).

legendary pop critic JULIE BURCHILL answers today that when Weldon's nipples started migrating south, her nose went north, and that there's nothing like the Spice Girls when it comes to having a good time (the sun)
