Republican Sen. Trent Lott, 66, unexpectedly announced on Monday that he will retire, amidst rumors that he had paid male escorts for sex. Trent Lott is well known for his anti gay stance and campaigns against gay rights issues throughout his terms in Congress. Then again, so was Larry Craig. Incidentally, the two men are good friends.
The boy who started the whole Trent Lott gay sex drama is none other than Gay prostitute (or escort as he prefers to be called) Benjamin Nicholas. Nicholas is not only a gay escort, but a popular blogger. The kiss and tell type apparently. In his steamy blog called “Fifteen Minutes" He has often written about his life as a gay male escort — a topic which enthralls his readers and which has garnered him a substantial amount of powerful business acquaintances over the years. According to the 20 something stawberry blonde, based in San Antonio, he would travel all over the world to meet his clients, including high profile celebrities, businessmen and even politicians in the United States Congress. He would give tips to fellow male escorts and scold them publicly for not being discreet about their "business dealings" ( Once, he even scolded gay escort Mike Jones for outing Rev. Ted Haggard as one of his gay escort business participants.)
After claiming that he had indeed had sexual relations with Trent Lott, Benjamin Nicholas backtracked slightly saying in an interview with Big Head DC: “All I can say at this point is no comment, It’s the professional thing for me to do. Lott has quite a bit on his plate right now and I don’t really want to add fuel to the embers.” He later also sent Big Head DC a statement saying: "Here’s my public comment, on-the-record: Sen. Lott and I have no current affiliation with one another. I’m sure he would appreciate no further scrutiny.”
