I joined the fan club, waited on the computer for 10 a.m. to roll around and was able to secure 4 tickets.  It worked just the way it was supposed to.  The fact that they didn't have enough tickets to go around is just part of life.  Have you priced airfare to Arizona during Super Bowl?  Are we going to sue Arizona for running out of hotel rooms?    Come on folks.  Try using all that energy to teach your kids to deal with disappoinment.  That is the gift that will help them throughout their lives.

I would like to know how to join the law suit. I like everyone else, joined  for the pre sale tickets and didn't get them. I was able to get them on my own the day the tickes went on sale, but I am out the membership fee. At first I didn't think it was a big deal, but now that I hear no one got pre sale ticket's it a rip off!!!!!!!

can someone tell me how to contact someone about the law suit?  i too am a parent of a hannah montana fanatic.  we joined to get the pre-sale tickets and of course had the same results.  i tried to contact ticket master, disney, even emailed the fan club and no-one ever responded to me about what had happened to the "perk" of being a member.

I imagine a lot of fans joined the fan club long before tickets were going on sale.   That's what we did.  We got our packet a long time ago and we got tickets when they went on sale through the presale.  I think a better method would have been what the Hilary Duff fanclub did years ago for her concerts.  When they announced the presale - you had to have already been a fan club member before a certain date to be eligible for the presale.  That way, you didn't have people joining at the last minute just to try and get tickets (brokers included).

I think that because of her (Miley's) age she is restricted as to the size of the venues at which she can perform.

I think the main thing people are failing to relize is that some of us feel that it was the responsibilty of the website to inform the ticketing seller i.e. TICKETMASTER that the event was already sold out rather than FALSELY misleading thousands of people into buying a membership to the site under the pretense that they would still have a chance to buy tickets.  That my friends is not whining or complaining...that is just bad business.  I bought a membership so I could take my kids to see her, and just like thousands of others I was unsucessful in getting tickets.  I also tried to get tickets to Memphis, and Atlanta...on the day they went on sale, and could not get them then either.  It comes down to one thing and one thing only...When the tickets are GONE STOP TRYING TO MISLEAD PEOPLE INTO BUYING ANOTHER SERVICE UNDER THE FALSE PRETENSE OF OBTAINING TICKETS.

They did not only lie about the tickets but also lied about the membership packet. They said that you will receive a membership packet after 4-6 weeks .My daughter is a member for over 5 months she still did not get anything. We send several Emails  they did not even bother to respond. For my daughter that was a big thing. They still are advertizing  the fan club in all of the teen magazines.

it is not mileyworld's fault if you didn't get your concert tickets. they are in high demand. and it is not like that is the only reason people pay to do mileyworld. mileyworld has offered me lots of things, and thanks to them I had the privilidge to ahve great seats to like one of the awesomest concerts I have ever been to. grow up everyone.

Let me tell my story.  On September 14th, I joined the Miley World for my daughter to be able to get presale tickets.  Per the screen, it said ITS NOT TOO LATE TO GET PRESALE TICKETS.  When I clicked that screen, it wanted you to pay $29.95 in membership dues before you could even get to the screen to get the tickets.  Once I paid the membership, I was allowed to access the screen only to tell me it had been sold out.  BUT before I gave them my money, they said it was not too late.  I immediately contacted the fan club stating my dissatisfaction and their false advertising.  I was told that they would not refund my money.  Mind you, I had not even been a member for more than five minutes before I was asking for my money back.  They deserve whatever they get.

Unfortunately folks Miley and her fan club aren't in control of the broker situation.  Ticket brokering is LEGAL in most states.  If you're angry, write your state representatives!!!

Well, I agree that "legally" there's not a lot of complaints you can have. Disney sure covered themselves well. In fact, this fan club doesn't really "guarantee" anything. And yet - there was a lack of sensibility from the part of Disney, to the kids and their parents who did miss out, who did want to pay good money, who were members of the fan club, and who in fact had no chance at all to land those tickets because they were sold in a few minutes.

You can't just pick up and move to a different venue, sweetie. I'm sure she's already playing at big enough venues as it is already. There's a lot more that goes on, and it's not that easy to just go switch venues.  I agree with whoever said that there are more fans than tickets. They can't be held responsible for not everyone getting a ticket. Be sure to read the small print when joining any kind of fan club.  And EXACTLY..."The people who did get the tickets are scalpers anyways." RIGHT. So, blame the scalpers, not the little girl.

My daughter is a member of Miley World.  We were able to get tickets.  On the website clear as day it says, "We can not garantee tickets as the demand is high."  I think this lawsuit is crazy.  That means you can sue any entertainer that has a presale for fan club members, just because you didn't get tickets.   INSANE!!!!!!

Why? I for one think it'd be much nicer if they just had reserved a few dates JUST for the fans. Sorry - the fans deserve to get into the shows. And the people who did get the tickets were scalpers anyway.

HELLO did you see the size of the stadiums she is playing at its not like they are little night clubs and shes got a crap load of stops on her tour already you like the all the people sueing are just out to whine and make yourself feel better get over it lifes not fair. And if you only joined the fan club to get tickets learn to read what you agree to fyi they reserved HALF of the tickets for sale for the fan club in some places they cant make it a closed set concert then everybody would be complaining about that.
