The Eagels found a way to trick the Billboard chart and to double their album sales

The Eagles just released a new album titled Long Road Out of Eden, and have brokered an exclusive deal with Walmart that propelled them to the top of the Billboard charts. But now it appears Virgin, and other smaller record stores are buying those CDs from Walmart and selling them at higher prices to costumers. Every CD sold that way is in effect counted twice by the Soundscan Billboard charts.

Bought & resold for higher cost at record stores ? Not a problem... things like this and MS charging customers to upgrade from Win 98 to 98 SE is what gives birth to the pirate community. There is always a Yang to balance the Yin.
