I ask what is it they need the money for...if its for food, I say meet me at McD's and I'll get you something...that way I know what the money is really going towards. Pretty reasonable right?
I gave 5 dollars to a man one time cause he gave me a sob story about his wife sitting in the car across the parking lot and she needed to get to hospital and they was about out of gas.he then took the money and went into the department store.We watched the car and another couple left in it.there was no wife in the store with him either.he was shopping.Thats the last time i ever give money to a stranger.
