You can never go back to the past... and as much as I realize that this is a scylla and charybdis question, and as much as I acknowlege that it is only BECAUSE of the Police that I came to grasp the meaning of that phrase (at age 15 in 1983, I believe, Thank you, Sting.), I feel that the body of work the Police prodUCED need not be muddied with future collaborative efforts AS the police. Should the band wish to work together in a similar but diffrent capacity, I'd support it, I suppose. At least that would $mack more of love of art and less of love of money... (and this from one who has supported the Police since RdB(80? 82?) and inasmuch Sting since 1985...)
