Actually it is a good news service by which to follow activities in the Middle East (around Israel esp) and all other nations in relation to the Middle East. They will tell you both sides of the stories, which are explicit and honest; as it were the flip side of the BBC and ABC. One may not like the slant, if one is typically a Westerner, but in that sense one gets a balanced understanding of world events as it unfolds, and for people who follow biblical prophesies, Al Jazeera is extremely helpful indeed, much more then BBC is really. It is like a search light from a helicopter flying over the Middle East, and in this sense it cannot be a terrorism supporter. Only those who sleep on their watch will not see what is coming - thanks to News Services like Al Jazeera. Those are my views anyway.

Interesting question, what if you do not have any news. In the case of world news, we may not really have any difficulties, I do not think. However when it comes to news about your state, about your city, about your neighborhood or about your family, then we will feel a sense of loss. Our country has gone through several coups; when all media outlets were closed and we just did not know what was going on; I think the feeling was one of helplessness; until we, in exasperation threw caution to the wind and say, “Bugger it, I don’t care”. I have been away from home several times and for several months, I do not hear anything about my home country let alone my family. Sometimes I awake at night, and have the feeling that I want to know the state of everyone at home; a phone call to your family is all you need so that you can satisfy your anxiety – provided it is good news you hear. If you call at say 10pm and your son or daughter says, something like this, “Well mum is not at home, I will tell her that you called” that is not bad. But you are told that she is late from work every night now etc. What do you think will happen?

I really hate CNN when they keep say they're going to present so special right after the break and when you realise it 'after the break' was an hour ago. That's dishonest, leading me on like that.

wow you didn't add CNN. I like the style of Euro News it tells you everything you need to know in 30 minutes.
