Will Iran's nuclear program controversy develop into an actual armed confrontation?

Western countries are worried of Iran's future capability of producing nuclear weapons, especially in view of Iran's president Ahmadinejad's recent statements about Israel and the US. Recently a second, secret, nuclear facility has been discovered in Iran.

Iran would be out of its mind to do that. All nations around the world would be at Iran's doorstep ready to kick down its door if it tried it.

But finally be sure that neither USA nor other western countries cannot attack Iran.Iran is not Iraq or Afghanistan or a military group in Palestine.

Most of the times USA threaten to attack Iran so it is Iran right to be ready for defense.

If western countries are worried about Iran's FUTURE nuclear program Why should not Iran be worry about PRESENT USA and Israel' nuclear program(or western countries's nuclear program). Most western countries have nuclear weapons but they don't like Iran to have the same WHY?

I don't think diplomacy will "solve" it. But I don't think there will be war, either. I think Iran will just develop its weapons and those who care will just have to bite it.
