The world is boring in some ways, but definitely not technologically. As far as technology goes, we live in the most exciting times ever. There are new discoveries literally everyday. Scientists can now treat many forms of blindness, they've just found a way to transmit electricity wirelessly, just a couple examples. That's not even mentioning the way the internet is transforming the world. And our technological advances are growing exponentially. We have more discoveries in the last few years than in the last 10, and in the last 10, more than in the last 50. Imagine the next couple years. Just because the world doesn't look like what some guy in the 50's imagined, doesn't mean it's not there. That's just perspective of the times. The guy who imagined flying cars probably never imagined the internet or the Large Hadron Collider. We're way beyond flying cars...
Seriously doubt it because most of what we do is based on what we've already done. - I hope that's what you're talking about, if you live a full life you're bound to see some interesting 'stuff' (for the lack of ruder words).
I am starting to wonder if our world will ever be like in the movies like back to the future where everything is futuristic, flying cars, advancing in technology etc. what will happen imposssible to tell we ll just leave it fate

Wait did you say our world is boring?
