I've always seen Sony products as kind of flimsy, and that's why I'd never trust a Sony laptop. When walkmans were the thing to have, I went through two Sony walkmans in two years. I'll trust something like a PS3 since that's like their main product basically and they need it to work, but I wouldn't go for anything else.
