A few years ago I went alone to France as part of my university course (which wasn't French). I worked in a local school and went to some college classes. I got by pretty well but I have really poor retention in foreign languages so after years of not using it at all, I doubt I remember much.
Living in Montreal without any French wouldn't really be ideal. My dad's French so I'm quite good with the language. I consider myself really more of an anglophone though. My mom's English so I really take after her.
je suis trilingue, je parle arabe, anglais et français! et j'aimerai bien apprendre d'autres langues :)
i use to take two years of french in high school but i forgot lot of it
