Sarah Palin's plan to resign from her Alaska Governor post in order to start getting ready for a 2012 presidential campaign?

It has become clear that Sarah Palin, the former McCain team member and vice president candidate, is planning to run for president in 2012. She's so firm on the plan she resigned last week from her post as governor of Alaska, presumably so she can focus on preparing for her presidential bid. Alaska seems just too far from Washington for somebody who is interested in becoming the new king.

Sarah Palins plan to resign from her Alaska Governor post in order to start getting ready for a 2012 presidential campaign?

Once resigned from politics, she won't have to answer hard "gotcha" questions like "What kind of magazines do you like to read?"
