I used clippings from the Smithsonian magazine, National Geographic, Harper's, and the Wilson Quarterly. Also a couple of photos from an old Psychology textbook.
I had to go through a lot of magazines to find enough black and white photos to use.
Actually I think this kind of piece would look better in only black and white :)
Next time drop LSD and use color.
I think its fun. I use a decoupage paste called Modge Podge.
I love it. I used to do this kind of thing but not for probably 30 yrs now - maybe you've just inspired me to start again. I used to like to do iton wood and shelack (sp?) it.
Well, ignoring originality, and artistic vision, it's somewhat psychedelic.
