Legend about vampires rised on Balkan, in Serbia, centuries before famous Dracula. People believed when someone die non-christianed, his spirit rise from the grave at night, and kills people sucking their blood. The only way to kill a vampire is to stab him with hawthorn-stake, and than burn dead body. The only who can find vampire's grave is white horse. They put garlic in front of their houses, because they believed garlic revolt vampires. They were powerless during the day, but at night they could be seen in old water-mills, bridges, cross-roads, but they couldn't pass quick water.
