Feb 16th, 2009 | Five Elements survey

What is your favorite element?

Here are five elements, four of matter (earth, air, fire and water) and The quintessential - spirit. Tracing a path around the pentagram, the elements are placed in order of density - spirit (or aether). fire, air, water, earth. Earth and fire are basal, fixed; air and water are free, flowing.

I've never seen the Platonic Solids associated with these different aspects of life before (love, power, wisdom, law and knowledge. It's interesting to note that power and law would be a duality, because the cube and octahedron are of a dual nature. Also love and wisdom would be similarly associated.

I confess, and agree with you that this poll is about occultism, and paganism, not Christianity. That is because I am interested in these things. Yet, that doesn't have anything to do with my religion. No I am not satanist, or neo pagan. I am Christian, and I believe in God. In time when these believe was born, Christianity didn't exist. I could put -God- instead -Spirit-, but as I tried to explain, this poll is not about Christianity, or science. It was definitely not about worship of anything, not creator nor material things. Just matter of personal attraction.

The pentagram is a known symbol of witchraft, what could be considered the opposite of Christianity if there is one. What this poll describes is earth worship, the worship of things created, the elements, rather than the creator, which could be considered to oppose me from the start, and which stem from Babylon. I also found it under the religious heading, which told me it WAS about religion. I'm not sure what I'm calling you wrong about. I simply stated my opinion about the elements, and the worship of them. I was being rather cynical, and for that I am sorry. And don't get hung up about the word worship here. I simply mean that you are giving a higher place to the elements which God created, than to the Creator Himself. There is no favourite, they are all equal - UNDER God. That is my true opinion.

Okay, so this polls have much to do with religion, but not Christian, so take it easy, I've read Bible many times, but I think it's more than obvious that this poll has no Bible interpretations at all. You can't just write me a few quotes, and claim that I am wrong, and you aren't. You are obviously intelligent, but you should learn to leave place for other opinions, and learn something new, maybe?

So what are Japanese mythology, Hinduism and pagan beliefs??? Religions, so this pole has very much to do with religion, just not the Christian one. All pagan religions stem from Babylon. Here, you find their end.

This poll has no nothing to do with religion. This theory comes from Japanese mithology, it's also familiar in Hinduism, and other pagan believes. And it has symbol of knowledge. I don't say there are no other definitions of fire meaning, but don't say my is wrong, I used well-known sources.

Gotta say fire is my favourite, but it does not represent knowledge. It represents God's coming judgement. . . Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
