Emma Sophina: Flight 1549 Survivor who wrote a tribute song for Captain Sully who landed her plane safely on the Hudson

Emma Sophina is an Australian singer/songwriter (whom I've never heard of before this) and one of the 155 survivors of US Airways Flight 1549, that crash landed last month in the Hudson river.

Sophina has just released a single, which she calls her tribute to flight captain  Chesley Sullenberger - the American hero who landed the flight in the Hudson, safely.

The song is titled "Send Another Prayer,” and is already on itunes, sold, to make Ms. Sophina money. On her Myspace, the singer says she wrote the song after the crash, when she was stuck in the US without a passport or any of her belongings which were lost on the plane.

“If it wasn’t for the graceful Sully, I wouldn’t be here talking to you today,” Sophina told New York Daily News days after the crash. “He gave us such a graceful landing under such terrible conditions… I really do feel inspired. I’m going to write a song about this called, ‘My Life in the Bottom of the Hudson River.’”
