Did Chris Brown hit Rihanna?

Rihanna and Chris Brown were a no-show last night at the Grammy awards. Then it turns out Police arrested Chris Brown - who was supposed to perform at last night's Grammy ceremony, after a woman complained he assaulted her. Rumor is the woman Chris Brown hit was girlfriend Rihanna, who also was due at the Grammy to perform, and was a no-show. The pair was replaced last minute by U2 and Al Green.

A statement released by the LAPD said double Grammy-nominee Mr Brown and his alleged victim "became involved in an argument. After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."
