"A 21-year-old Monroe [Louisiana] woman charged with aggravated battery allegedly told police she shot her boyfriend because he wouldn't let her sleep," reports Salon.
"[The boyfriend] had been shot once in the hip and was taken to the LSU Health Sciences Center for treatment. Deputies said they met the suspect walking near the shooting scene and the woman allegedly led authorities to the handgun, which she had thrown into a culvert."
