Sarah Palin not invited to a presidential dinner for John McCain in Washington

NYTimes reports on a dinner for John McCain attended by many allies, including president Barack Obama who gave a very warm speech on his former adversary. The juicy part, however, came last:

"Mr. McCain was introduced at the dinner by a fellow Republican, his close friend and wingman during the campaign, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. And his other wingman, Senator Joseph Lieberman, an independent from Connecticut who earned much enmity from Democrats by appearing at the Republican convention, also attended.

Not invited was Mr. McCain’s running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska."

I would not be surprised if this really was meant to pack some kind of a hit. And that the McCain camp was actually sick of or disapointed in Palin; even to the point where she was left uninvited to the dinner.

Sarah Palin's national political career has been destroyed. Joe the Plumber has a better chance of being president.-Although, personally, I would not want him in the White House either.
