Prophet Yohanna was martyred by Herodis the king of jews. His head is buried in Damascus in Amavi masque and his body  is buried in Palestine.That is why previously Amavi masque known as Yohanna church.

is prophet Yohanna muslim prophet?as I heard christian come to Amavi masque to see his grave there and he is one of  Mar Merry relatives.

I don't see how King Herod could have murdered a Muslim prophet, they did not even live in the same millenium.
