If Oprah smoked crack, do you lose respect for her?

"In his tell-all book, The Wizard of O: My Life with Oprah, Randolph Cook alleges that during his 6-month secret trysts with the media mogul, Oprah had been using cocaine regularly and was in fact under the influence during her show tapings," reports the Post Chronicle. "Now to be fair, Oprah had confessed on the show that she briefly tried cocaine in the 70s, blaming it on her obsession with a drug dealer."

Dlisted's Michael K adds: "But Randolph told The National Enquirer Oprah taught him how to smoke crack and the two freebased together....  He writes, 'Americans have placed Oprah on a pedestal that has been seemingly invincible until now.'"
