Had he continued Clinton's economic policies, this would have further reduced US government debt, but this would not have solved the personal debt problem, which I believe is the number one economic problem. Even the damage of Hurricane Katrina would have been lessened, as Gore would have done everything in his power to lessen its impact (as he actually did when it hit).

if only gore had been president thes last 8 years, what a different and i think better decade this would have been.
