FACT OR FICTION?


THE ZERO WAS UNIQUE AMONG WORLD WAR ll  COMBAT AIRCRAFT.  A MYTH OF JAPANESE AERIAL INVINCIBILTY WAS BORN DUE TO THE HIGH  MANOEUVRABILITY OF THE AIRCRAFT.  THE ZERO WAS THE JAPANESE EQUIVALENT OF THE SPLITFIRE.
