Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich: Most corrupt man in America to date


Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was just arrested by the FBI for a series of grave corruption charges, including trying to "auction off" Obama's now-vacant senate seat to the person who'd pay him the most money.

Other charges include working to gain benefits for himself, his wife, and his campaign fund in exchange for appointments to state boards and commissions.

His office has been under investigation for over a year now, in an FBI attempt to investigate unequal suspicions of corruption in the Illinois political system.

The 51 year old Governonr has been taken into FBI custody along with his head of staff.

He has so much competition from people like the current outgoing US administration, let alone historical figures like Joseph McCarthy and Nixon and Harding.

Wouldn't say the most corrupt, but pretty bad though. Joseph McCarthy in my mind will always be one of the most corrupt. He was corrupt in the way that he manipulated others for his own ends, ending many people's careers and reputations.
