Plastic surgery, botox injections, and other forms of medical practices aimed at making old people appear young, have become a staple of our cultur. Most of our celebritiesare operated, "fixed" to appear younger. And pictures like the one featured on this poll, of a 69 year old Dr. Jeffry Life, who appears to have the body of a buff twenty year old, are all over fitness and lifestyle magazines in ads advertising different services in the genre. Is old age management the future of medicine? Or is it just a fad brought to us by our celebrity-worshipping culture?
it sad is what it is....i kinda see wrinkles and age spots as something to be proud of...it says you've lived a full life. It's creepy to come across a person who looks 25 only to find out they are really like 60.
I don't know if it's the future of "medicine" but it is the future of cosmetic procedures.
