Mark my words, Paris Hilton is just getting started. I guess I'm crazy, but I been falling, maybe not in love, but certainly, "in like" with her since I've been watching her reality series My New Best Friend. I know, I know,the whole theme of the show is enough to make one gag. Surprisingly, I've seen a Paris Hilton emerge in small glimpses on the show. Her poise and candidacy are sharp and clearly defined. Her face when she has to eliminate contestants shows a vulnerable, sympathetic side that I don't believe is contrived. I'm sure she has a professional staff helping her with the shows unique and well-thought-out progressively more dificult to handle stunts that the rivals must accomplish, but there seems to me to be a strong "Paris" flavor to each project. I believe we are just seeing a few flashes of light from an untapped Jewel Mine. No Paris is not over, only those unused to looking deeply for anything would think so. Maybe they're just frightened by the possibility that a woman could be beautiful, smart, funny , REAL, and Rich.
