I have listened to this prank call... I have been targeted by a few prank calls before, and the trick is to call them on their bluff... In this case, once things started to get strange, I would have started to ask him really in depth questions, firstly things like who was the name of the French Foreign Minister, " Oh yes, I am anxious to meet the Foreign minister, what was his name again"? going into in depth questions on foreign policy, nuclear plants, just taking control of the call. That is, of course if I spotted it. I can't say whether I would have spotted this as a prank or not, and how early I would have spotted it if I did.
