Multi-millionaire Simon Cowell is officially single

Simon Cowell (48) and his girlfriend of 6 years Terri Seymour (36) broke up. The Daily Mail reports that they have been apart for a few months, but it's only now that she's confirmed the end of the relationship.

"Simon has basically been waiting for Terri to announce the relationship is over for months", a friend revealed. "She has been a weight around his neck for a long time but the problem was that his mother absolutely adored Terri and thought the world of her".

In an interview back in 2005, Seymour said: "I’m under no illusions where I rank in Simon’s priorities. It’s work, his mom, work, then me".

Terri will continue to live in the luxury Los Angeles apartment that Cowell, who is worth £130 million, bought for her when she moved out of their shared home this summer.
