I'm from Iceland and it isn't like we have much money, i mean I'm in a pretty rich school, or well it was before the crisis now we had to cancel our musical (we have it once per third year so everybody has a chance to be in it) It's not like we are terrorists, we didn't mean for all this to happen. Sure we have this shit going on but every Saturday until Christmas 10% of the population demonstrated to get a new government or something..
It happens when anti terrorist laws are used for purposes other than fighting terrorism. They are open to abuse, and in this case, they were used to protect Britain from economic fallout from the Icelandic financial meltdown. Iceland would probably have gone under anyway, whether it was the right thing to do or not I do not know.
