Rumors are swirling that Lindsay Lohan was fired from guest starring on Ugly Betty. Originally scheduled to shoot six episodes, Lohan did four instead. Among the stories:
Lohan allegedly had power plays with star America Ferrera, insisting that Ferrera be on set first;
Lohan smoked cigarettes non-stop, obsessively cut photos of herself out of tabloids and left her dressing room such a mess that it had to be repainted;
and, during a "de-pantsing" scene rehearsal, Ferrera allegedly pulled Lohan's pants down...and Lohan wasn't wearing any underwear.
Lohan friends call the stories "bulls--t." Ferrera's official line (from her rep) is: "America is grateful to have had her on the show and thinks everyone should tune in to see how great the episodes are."
