None of those terrorists were Iraqi. They came from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Yemen, countries that are not Iraq. Bin Laden has described Saddam Hussein as not being a real muslim. No weapons of mass destruction were found. And if he DID still have them he surely would have used them to save himself. We (including Australia and Britain) were tricked into the war (kicking and screaming, there were massive protests against it) and why? Lets have a look at those lovely big no bid, cost-plus contracts for Halliburton, which give them bonuses for spending more, and lead them to driving empty trucks across the country in order to bilk the most money out of the American taxpayer and Iraqi government. Also look at the oil bill that they tried to force through the Iraqi government, which tried to hand back a massive amount of the Iraqi oil money to the multinationals, tried to denationalise the oil industry, so that 90% of the Iraqi oil profits are taken out of the country by Chevron and BP and ExxonMobil and Total and Shell, instead of the 15% under Saddam.
What an idiot....and I suppose the American public was tricked into the Civil War, WWI + II, the Gulf War, and Vietnam too. The only reason, IMO, that this war is any different is because our nation has seen a huge increase in Liberals and a major decrease in patriotism. Terrorists attacked our homeland on 9/11, we fought back, and then we took it maybe one step a little too far. How is that any different from any other time we have gone to war, except for maybe the Civil War? Has our country not liberated people from a dictator in the past? Bah, Olberman can suck on it. He has no idea what he is talking about and he is just playing to the bleeding hearts of his viewers.
