Which do you find more beautiful? *CLICK PICTURE TO ENLARGE*

These designs are two slightly different variations of a character called Faith; from an upcoming game by Swedish developer D.I.C.E., entitled Mirror's Edge.

An article posted by Kotaku suggests that Westerners have different view of what they consider a beautiful Asian woman then that of what actual Asians consider to be beautiful (in Asian women).

Regardless were your from (East or West) do you think there’s a universal view of what is beautiful or do you think that every ethnicity has its own tastes?  (Comment, Please)

I feel that same way, it's better to be true to yourself then lie to the world.

I don't understand why people dislike natural beauty.

P.S. hahaha, you guys are wonderful!  As I'm replying to all your comments I’m trying not to add an indication to my own opinion-- which is really hard! (only facts!)  Personally if I had to choose, I already know which one I would pick.  Thanks again, these are really great results!

Somewhat like Janis616 mentioned, people baring a stronger jaw and lean physic do give the impression of being power and naturally exercise does heighten your level of personal confidence (self-esteem). And you know, I've read that people who have their eyes squinted more are seen as being more suspicious compared to people who have their eyes more open; these people are seen as being more honest and trustworthy.  I guess the term 'the eyes are a gateway to the soul' is very credible after all.

I’ve heard that women with fuller and perkier breasts are preserved to be healthier or healthful which might indicate a sign that they have good genes and are better able to nurse children, however these women may be subject to back pain (a la Lara Croft), whereas women with smaller breasts don’t have this have this issue but are seen as being less attractive. lol, It funny you mentioned it, statistics show Americans (and those influenced by American culture) prefer woman bigger breasts.  Influence from the media has made American (and other international) women become dissatisfied with their breasts, but we all know that the reality all breasts come in different shapes and size.  Commonly size B is considered average but in today’s world a size C is increasingly becoming the norm; most likely due to the raising levels of obesity in America. but like that oh so important lesson in life 'bigger is not always better' but they also say that 'big is beautiful' hahaha everyone has a choice.

hahaha! I’ve always presumed thought that within every one of us there would be an almost innate acknowledgement of what is consider being universally beautiful—but just like you mentioned from your own live; a Fijian coming into contact with a Taiwanese point of view, it’s fascinating how a person’s culture background, how they were raised, their beliefs and so forth can all dictate their preferences towards others and what they perceive to be beautiful.  I’ve even heard that things such as body language and even body odor all have a play a role to determine whether you're you find this person attractive or even good genetic match. The world is continually becoming a better connected place, I’m really impressed by the kindness and acceptance open-mind people of good faith can manifest.  Personally I hope more people and cultures may become even closer and one day hopefully we can learn and possibly become better people because of it.

Girl A has a stronger jaw, making her look more powerful, and normal-sized breasts.  Girl B looks like a 12 year old with breast implants...I sure hope this isn't what American men expect of us.

I think and I've known it for a long time now that every ethnicity have their own perception of what beautiful and/or handsome means. When I was in Taiwan my Liaison Officer was an ordinary chap I thought, until I heard someone say that he was probably the most handsome guy in the Shipyard where I worked. I did not agree until later when I realized that I was judging him from the eyes of a Fijian, though my workmate looked upon him from a chinese point of view. This is true different people have different perceptions
