One of Sarah Palin's early supporters advocates Alaskan independence and using nuclear weapons to blow up glaciers because there is gold under them.

You cant have so many highly contradictionary things being said without at least some of them being lies.

I'm sure they would, Phil, but the more lies that were proven false, the less likely people would be to believe the next lie - IF they are lies.  This silence makes me fully believe he is hiding something.  Just like his own so-called slip of the tongue 'Muslim' religion thing.  HIS OWN WORDS gave it up, can't blame the Republicans for that.  With his Muslim background, it is very very believable, now that he, himself said it.  And just being Muslim, or having once been, doesn't automatically mean you are involved in terrorism right now.  But if he's hiding one thing, it begs the question 'What else is he hiding?'  So come out with the whole truth and be done with it.  Do you see what I mean?  I really don't trust him, and it's mostly due to his own actions and words.

A big problem is, they will come up with more and more lies.

I really, really and truly hope you are both right - for real! lol But I gotta ask then, why doesn't Obama do something to curb the talk, like tell the whole truth - and stop hiding things. If the facts are harmless, why doesn't he prove it? Inquiring minds want to know...

Insidious forces with nefarious motives lurk within our country, from behind every tree, under every bed, whispering their filthy immoral propaganda designed to brainwash you... Note: you are now reading filthy immoral propaganda. Fun, ain't it?

A good idea is a good idea wherever it comes from, so why not?

If this is true, and even if this person did still influence her, (which I highly doubt), I STILL see this as less of a threat to Americans than terrorist ties and disrespect toward the American flag showing disloyalty to the country.  Terrorists destroy from within, secretly, methodically, with no conscience.  If Alaska became independent, at least we could keep an eye on them openly.  And while they may have their secrets, at least they'd be on the outside.  Not inside, telling lies, working with our own people, to destroy us from within.

So Phil, I see you've adopted 'Splotzie's'  "comments/complaints" option.  You wouldn't have an original idea if it bit you in the ass.
