Do you agree with McCain that Obama should be treated with respect?

source

John McCain calls for Barack Obama, who he admires but disagrees with on certain issues, to be treated with respect, after many recent anti Obama outbursts by his supporters at his rallies, including cries of "treason" and "hang him high"

quite a bit actually.....a good start would be to rein in ACORN....and to quit lying about his shady connections...

But he IS the same as bush - he voted FOR 94% of his programs! And people think that's a sign of him being a maverick? Now that's really sad.

"McSame" is also a sign of disrespect.  It goes on on both sides of the fence, as well as all the voting bull.  It is to America's disgrace.  Sad.

Popular vote doesn't count! Nor should it! Otherwise we would have "mob mentality" rule, not a true gauge of DEEPER responsibilities. What about the dis-enfranchised? The minorities, the TRUE Americans who only want to survive this madness led by $$$ hungry zealots. I want a stable platform of FAIRNESS, not exclusiveness: where people are judged by their "connections", rather than by by their abilities.

It 'aint over 'til it's over. The R's have plenty of shenanigans to pull about the election process. Voter purging, caging, throwing away "provisional ballots," good ol' fashioned voter intimidation, circulating false information in the form of flyers in the newspaper and on the telephone, unsolicited voter registration forms with incorrect mailing addresses, and so on. In these efforts, the Republicans are really creative and effective. In the actual governing? not so much.

Yes I can not see any reason to show him any kind of disrespect, regardless of anything. I think that that is John McCain's point, and I do agree with him.

I disagree. He already has the "anybody but Obama" crowd. If Obama is killed, he will become a martyr and it is very hard to beat the cause any martyr represents.

It's pretty obvious McSame is going to lose this election regardless of the popular vote. His only HOPE is to incite enough vitrol so someone actually assassinates Obama - typical of 4 y.o.'s whose parents are beaten and that is their only recourse.
